A Journey of Self Discovery

A young monk has spent eleven years trying to become one with the universe. One morning, on the steps of a small temple just off Oxford Circus, an old man asks him a simple question: when did he become separate from it?
Neither of them knows, so they go and look. Over a day and a night they walk through real London, from Baker Street to the South Bank, through Brixton and Clapham, to Hyde Park at dawn. At every stop the old man asks the monk to write down only what is actually there.
An invitation, for complete beginners and long-time seekers alike, to find out for ourselves. Every chapter ends with a question to try.
